Since 1983 our team has gone through various phases of marketing Indane cylinders and its allied products to our customers. The last decade is the most challenging phase as we have undergone many changes and we have overcome them to the best of our abilities. Now is a time when we should think about our main stream of revenue coming from a non-fuel source. We are catering to more than 20,000 customer homes. Customers who have a kitchen. We should think and concentrate on how to serve the customers with kitchen in all possible ways. Being aligned with our Mission, Vision and Values will ensure the desired growth of our company. We are a class apart from our peers and we should ensure to be the same in every aspect of our business. I am sure we will continue to strive and come on top at every challenge bestowed upon us with the help of our energetic team.
Balaaji Gas Agencies was established in the year 1983 with 4 employees and a 2600 customer base. Since inception, hard work and years of experience in the LPG industry have paved the way now to bear the fruit of 23000 happy customers which includes both Domestic kitchens and commercial enterprises.
Earlier to get a new LPG connection, a customer has to wait for 5-7 years. In those days the deposit amount for a new connection was Rs 197(which includes the Regulator, and stove). Slowly modern cooking was adapted to our Indian kitchen which helped our business.
In 1975 Indane LPG was handled by the Ruvan gas agencies in Pollachi, which faced issues against legal terms, and hence it was terminated by the Indian oil corporation (IOC) followed by that, Indian oil corporation notified and called for an interview for a new distributor in Pollachi area. In 1983 our founder participated and got the distribution for IOC at Pollachi. Our founder Mr. Palani Sevvel. S met all the criteria that the IOC demanded and was awarded the Letter of Intent later by letter of Appointment. At that time Mani Ayer trading company which dealt with petrol products was an Ad hoc distribution company at Pollachi from which customers were taken over by us Balaaji gas Agencies as per IOC norms. This is where the history begins from which Mr. Palanisevval, B.com has taken all the opportunities on his journey by which he took the company to the next generation with all the glory and goodwill. He had the tremendous support of his wife Mrs. Meenakshi Sevvel in both business and family. Both their contribution is what Balaaji Gas Agencies now. The company achieved many milestones worth mentioning.

Balaaji Gas Agencies is established in the year 10.10.1983 with a customer base of 2600 members and covered the area of Pollachi, Udumalaipet & Valparai.
First, the company started the office at 86(f) Nallapa theater complex, Pollachi in the year 1983-1987
The company moved into various buildings No 52, Thayumanava Street, 32, Kambar street & 11/1, Roundana Road, over the period time of 19882007.
Finally, the company-owned new building in No 8/4, LIG Colony, Palladam road, from September 1st, 2008 to till date.
Initially, the company constructed Godown on rented land at Venkatesan colony with a capacity of 8000kg
Now the company owns a Godown from 2001 with a capacity of 12000 kg and one more construction is going on at Kullakapalayam,Pollachi.
The company has slowly expanded in the business area of Negamam, Kinathukadavu, Annamalai, kogaomangalam Pudur.
The success behind Balaaji Gas Agencies is based on safety, customer service, Documentation, and Housekeeping.
Balaaji Gas Agencies happily gave 36,000 customers to the following gas agencies as per Indian oil corporation norms and supported them in their business ventures.
Our Coimbatore Indane LPG Area office consists of five revenue districts Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Periyar (Erode), Salem, and Dharmapuri. Balaaji Gas Agencies received the Best Distributor award for two consecutive years from Indian Oil Corporation among all the distributors in our Area Office.
subsequently bagged the Runner-up award for best distributor among the entire state of Tamil Nādu and Pondicherry.
Balaaji Gas Agencies received the Best Distributor award for contribution to Safety, Documentation, and House Keeping in the year 2003-2004 among our Area Office again.
Balaaji Gas Agencies received the Scroll of Honour for 20 years of long service award by Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai in the year 2005.
Balaaji Gas Agencies received the Scroll of Honour for 25 years of long service award by Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai in the year 2010.
Balaaji Gas Agencies received the trophy for Coimbatore AO winning second prize in NDNE Direct sales for the period of 2014-2015.
Balaaji Gas Agencies received the Scroll of Honour for 30 years Long service award from Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai in the year 2015.
Balaaji Gas Agencies was awarded at Coimbatore AO for Best initiation distributor in the year 2017-2018.
Balaaji Gas Agencies received an award for outstanding contribution to the sale of 5kg FTL cylinders in the period 2018.
Balaaji Gas Agencies received the Scroll of Honour -35 years Long service award by Indian Oil Corporation, Chennai in the year of 2019
Balaaji Gas Agencies received the trophy for Coimbatore AO winning second prize for 5kg FTL sales in the period 2019.
Balaaji Gas Agencies Received an award for support and Contributes to Rotatory, Pollachi in the year 2020-2021
